Sasha Wass QC and Alison Morgan are instructed in the defence of John Edwards, picture editor for the Sun newspaper, who was accused of plotting with public officials in pursuit of exclusive stories between March 2002 and January 2011. Mr Edwards, along with his five co-defendants, was variously charged with conspiring to commit misconduct with members of the armed forces, police officers, prison officials and staff at Broadmoor hospital. Mr Edwards faced three counts, which he denied. Mr Edwards was cleared of all charges following the trial at Kingston Crown Court.
