Three members of Chambers in £70m 'boiler room' fraud judicial review

Jeffrey Revell-Reade was convicted of one count of conspiracy to defraud after a seven-year global investigation by the Serious Fraud Office and authorities in New Zealand, Hong Kong and the US. The conviction relates to his part in a £70m “boiler room” fraud which involved more than 1000 UK investors.

David Perry QC, Jonathan Hall QC and Julian Blake all represented the SFO in a judicial review concerning the execution of search warrants at properties linked to Revell-Reade. A reporting restriction on the judicial review proceedings has now been lifted.
