Right to wear Niqab in court - Kate Wilkinson instructed

Kate Wilkinson is instructed in the case where a Muslim women seeks to wear her full face veil or ‘niqab’ during her trial for witness intimidation at the Crown Court at Blackfriars. The case raises difficult questions about how to balance our protected freedom to manifest our religious beliefs and the proper administration of justice in UK courts.
