Ashley Latty Murder Trial
Simon Denison QC was instructed in the trial of Nicholas Terrelonge, Tyler Burton, Kestrel Dyer, Jerome Joseph and Nana Oppong, who were accused of murdering Ashley Latty, 25, outside Beaver Centre, Dagenham, on 18 May 2014. Judge Stephen Gullick jailed Terrelonge, 28, and Burton, 28, for life with a minimum term of 20 years after they were found guilty of murder. Dyer, 25, and Joseph, 28, who were cleared of murder but found guilty of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, were jailed for six and a half years and six years respectively. Oppong, 34, was jailed for four years after admitting causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
