Chambers launches Cybercrime team
Chambers has established a team of practitioners with particular experience and knowledge of cybercrime.
They have experience on advising financial institutions who have been the subject of cyberattacks, on the lawfulness of access to overseas servers, software piracy, theft of meta-data from rival corporates, and offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
Our barristers provide advice to corporates, individuals and public bodies on their obligations to protect data they hold, strategies to ensure compliance with new regulation as well as the legal parameters within which they can act to protect themselves from attacks. We can also assist those who have been the subject of attack by advising on possible remedies and redress.
