Area of Practice - International Criminal Law


6 King's Bench Walk has broad experience in international criminal law. Before the domestic appeal courts, chambers has dealt with complex issues of international criminal law such as the crime of aggression (R v Jones [2007] 1 AC 270). Further afield, members of Chambers have worked as Senior Trial Attorneys in trials before ad hoc tribunals including the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.


Chambers is able to advise individuals and governments on a wide range of international criminal and humanitarian law issues, including crimes against humanity, war crimes and sovereign and diplomatic immunity.
