6 King's Bench Walk has extensive expertise in conducting
criminal appeals. Members of Chambers regularly appear in
the House of Lords, the Privy Council and the Court of Appeal.
In the House of Lords, members of Chambers have appeared
in a large number of landmark cases. These include: R

burdens of proof), R v. Z (similar fact evidence),
R v. G and R (Caldwell recklessness), AGs
Ref No. 2 of 2001 (delay) and R v. Preddy
(ingredients of theft).
In the Privy Council, notable cases in which members of Chambers
have recently appeared include: Randall v. the Queen
(fairness in trials) and Roberts v. the Queen
(admissibility of evidence).
In the Court of Appeal, members of Chambers have been involved
in a number of high profile matters, including the cases of
Derek Bentley, Ruth Ellis and James Hanratty, and Re
A (minors) (conjoined twins).
