Individual members of Chambers are specially trained in advocacy
teaching and participate in training members of the Bar here
and advocates abroad. In particular, we provide teachers for
the South Eastern Circuit`s annual residential course in Oxford
and on the international advocacy course for war crimes prosecutors
held at the Hague.
Pupils at 6 King`s Bench Walk participate in our own advocacy
training course which ensures that they are well equipped
to meet the challenge of their first days in court with professional
competence. The programme includes mock summary trials in
the presence of a Stipendiary Magistrate and culminates in
a mock trial before a Resident Judge at the Old Bailey.
